Considered a discarded waste product from Indonesian plantations, the teak root in its most natural state forms the body of our TOOR stool. A simple but effective horizontal cut at the base of the tree trunk produces a flat surface that functions as a seat, while the base is composed of the intricate and naturally eroded shapes of the root. A minimal but sufficient intervention to transform a waste material into a useful, natural, beautiful and unique object.
